Privacy Policy

Uptime Architect is a personal, non-commercial site run by Uptime Architect. It has no accounts, no ads and no tracking cookies, and it doesn't sell or share personal data with anyone.

Analytics

The site uses Cloudflare Web Analytics to count page views. It doesn't set cookies or use local storage, and it doesn't build a profile of you. I see aggregate numbers only: which pages are read, referring sites and country-level totals.

If you subscribe, your email address is stored by Kit (ConvertKit), which sends the newsletter. It's used only to send you new posts. Every email has an unsubscribe link, and you can ask me to delete your address at any time.

Videos

Embedded videos load only when you click play, from YouTube's privacy-enhanced domain (youtube-nocookie.com). Once a video plays, Google's privacy policy applies to it.

If you write to me through the contact page, I use your message and address only to reply.

Video uploader (Google API)

"Uptime Architect uploader" is a private tool I use to upload videos to my own YouTube channel through the YouTube Data API. It is used only by me, on my own computer, with my own Google account. It reads and writes only that channel's videos, stores its sign-in token locally on that computer, and doesn't collect, share or transfer data about anyone else. Its use of information received from Google APIs follows the Google API Services User Data Policy, including the Limited Use requirements. You can revoke its access at any time in your Google Account permissions.
